Join an independent prototyping and manufacturing leader dedicated to delivering custom product designs for diverse commercial industries. We are seeking a skilled specialist to create and refine production-ready Standard Tesselation Language (STL) files for high-volume projects, offering a stable remote opportunity with long-term growth potential.
Schedule:
- Part-time, 20 hours per week (4 hours daily, 5 days a week) Flexible
Responsibilities
- Create and prepare STL files for 3D modeling and prototyping projects
- Convert design specifications into production-ready files for manufacturing
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support ongoing client projects
- Ensure all files meet technical specifications and quality standards
- Maintain consistent availability during scheduled work hours for project turnaround
Must-have Requirements
- Proven experience creating STL files for 3D modeling and prototyping
- Do you have experience with medical parts, manufacturing and advance 3D modeling (Including cartoon-style and architectural models) ?
- Strong technical proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools
- Engineering or drafting background with demonstrable portfolio of completed work (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience working with manufacturing or prototyping companies
- Background in mechanical engineering or product design
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping processes and requirements
