Frontend Developer (HubSpot CMS)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Frontend Developer (HubSpot CMS) to support the development and optimization of web experiences. This role focuses on building responsive, high-quality frontend components and working within HubSpot CMS to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions. The ideal candidate will be pragmatic and execution-focused, comfortable working within defined technical directions while ensuring high performance and cross-browser compatibility.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM PST [Los Angeles], with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week). Note: Full-time hours are flexible provided there is at least 2 hours of overlap within this window.

Responsibilities

  • Web Development: Develop and maintain responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • HubSpot Customization: Build and customize pages, templates, and modules specifically within the HubSpot CMS environment.
  • Feature Implementation: Collaborate with the team to implement frontend features aligned with business requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility for all web assets.
  • Standard Compliance: Work within existing architecture and strictly follow established development standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs as they arise.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS development.
  • Detail-oriented and precise in technical implementation.
  • Comfortable working within defined technical directions and constraints.
  • Ability to work full-time with the required Pacific Standard Time (PST) overlap.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience (flexible for candidates with strong portfolios).
  • Familiarity with integrating APIs or working within CMS-driven environments is a plus.
  • Experience working in small teams or fast-paced, founder-led environments is highly regarded.
