Job Overview

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the financial operations for a group of seven distinct entities. This is a high-responsibility role requiring a professional who can navigate complex multi-entity accounting while maintaining meticulous accuracy in payroll and tax compliance. The successful candidate will serve as the financial backbone of these organizations, ensuring that all records are audit-ready and all filings are submitted on time.

Schedule  

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM MST [Utah], with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week) 

Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity Bookkeeping: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll for seven different business entities.
• Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and efficiently using Gusto and QuickBooks.
• Tax Compliance: File sales taxes and business personal property taxes in accordance with all relevant deadlines and regulations.
• Communication: Handle internal email communications regarding pay changes, updates, and financial queries.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain meticulously organized financial records for each individual entity to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Process Coordination: Coordinate complex accounting procedures across the entire group of companies.
• Deadline Management: Ensure all tax filing and financial reporting deadlines are met without oversight.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll management.
• Expert proficiency with Gusto and QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of filing sales and business personal property taxes.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple accounts and entities simultaneously.
• Extremely meticulous nature with a high attention to detail.
• Availability to dedicate 40 hours per week exclusively to this role.
• Excellent written communication skills for team updates and internal correspondence.
