Lead Qualification Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly communicative Outbound Client Qualification Specialist to support a fast-growing financial services team in Australia.

This is a mid-level outbound calling role focused on engaging with warm leads clients who have already submitted enquiries but were not successfully contacted. The objective is to reconnect with these clients, conduct qualification conversations, and ensure accurate information is gathered before passing them to the internal advisory team.

This is not cold calling. All leads are inbound enquiries requiring follow-up.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm standard business hours Australia (AEST / AEDT) ; 40 hours per week

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Make high-volume outbound calls  to warm leads
  • Reconnect with clients who previously submitted enquiries
  • Conduct qualification conversations to assess client needs
  • Collect key supporting information (e.g., bank statements and documentation)
  • Ensure accurate data capture and update client records
  • Pass qualified leads to internal specialists for further action
  • Maintain a structured, professional, and consistent call approach
  • Follow provided scripts, processes, and compliance guidelines

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in outbound calling, telesales, or client qualification roles
  • Strong spoken English and excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle high call volumes 
  • Comfortable working with warm leads (not cold calling)
  • Ability to stay consistent, resilient, and performance-driven in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Preferred

  • Experience in financial services, mortgage broking, or lead qualification

Ideal Candidate

  • Confident and persuasive communicator over the phone
  • Experienced in structured outbound calling environments
  • Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume calling activity
  • Professional, reliable, and able to follow process strictly
  • Able to build rapport quickly with warm leads
