Job Description
You’ll be the financial backbone of a thriving restaurant operation, managing the complete bookkeeping cycle for a growing multi-location business. This isn’t just data entry – you’ll own the financial accuracy that drives daily operations and strategic decisions. Working directly with restaurant management, you’ll have real-time access to ask questions, provide insights, and grow alongside an expanding business that values your expertise.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM Central Time (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with 1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Key Responsibilities:
● P&L Deadline: Monthly P&L should be completed by the 5th of each month for smoother processing.
● Weekly P&L Reporting: Must be submitted every Monday by noon, ensuring all weekend data is already processed.
● Knowledge of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
● Experience with DSR (Daily Sales Report)
● Ability to update and manage scorecards
● Process daily sales entries from Toast POS system into QuickBooks Online
● Monitor and reconcile bank accounts to ensure complete accuracy across all systems
● Manage payroll processing and verification through integrated toast systems
● Ensure seamless data synchronization between Toast POS, Extra Chef app, and QuickBooks
● Prepare monthly profit and loss statements within 10-day deadline requirements
● Generate balance sheets and cash flow statements for management review
● Maintain proper chart of accounts and categorization for restaurant operations
● Provide real-time financial support and communication throughout business hours
● Support expansion planning as additional restaurant locations come online

Requirements:
● Extensive hands-on experience with Toast POS system (non-negotiable)
● Restaurant industry experience
● Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online with ability to work efficiently within the platform
● Experience with Extra Chef application for invoice and receipt management
● Restaurant industry bookkeeping experience including tips, payroll, and inventory complexities
● Strong communication skills for daily collaboration with management team
● Proven ability to meet tight monthly reporting deadlines
● Bonus if you have experience scaling bookkeeping operations across multiple locations
● It helps if you’ve worked with growing restaurant groups or franchise operations.
