Recruitment Sourcing Specialist

Overview

We are a UK-based recruitment business specialising exclusively in placing professionals into accounting firms. We have over 20 years of market experience working with a large network of clients and candidates across the UK. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and driven Resourcer / Sourcing Specialist to support candidate generation and pipeline development across multiple live roles. This role is focused on identifying, engaging, and shortlisting high-quality candidates using a variety of platforms, including CRM systems.

Schedule:

  • Full Time - 40h per week - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm- GMT

Responsibilities

  • Utilize LinkedIn, CRM systems, and various platforms to identify high-quality candidates through targeted searches based on specific job briefs, qualifications, and locations.
  • Develop and maintain candidate lists for current live roles while proactively identifying talent for future vacancies to ensure long-term recruitment success.
  • Expertly navigate the company CRM to match existing candidates to roles and maintain meticulous, up-to-date records of all candidate activity and shortlists.
  • Execute tailored engagement strategies via email and direct messaging to attract interest from professionals at all levels, from entry-level to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the consistent movement of candidates through the recruitment funnel, from initial identification and engagement to final shortlisting.
  • Efficiently handle high-volume workloads by maintaining active and organized pipelines across multiple vacancies without compromising quality.
  • Proactively research and identify new candidate pools and market trends to build comprehensive longlists for key specialist roles.
  • Maintain organized communication records and track outreach response rates to optimize engagement and candidate interest.
  • Ensure the CRM remains an exceptionally well-maintained resource with fully accurate and detailed activity tracking for every candidate interaction.
  • Consistently deliver qualified, relevant shortlists that meet specific client requirements within a target-driven, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recruitment resourcing, sourcing, or lead generation
  • Strong experience using LinkedIn and CRM systems
  • High attention to detail and organisation
  • Ability to follow structured processes and work independently
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English (essential)
  • Ability to confidently engage with Director and Partner-level candidates
  • Equally comfortable supporting and guiding early and mid-career candidates
  • Able to influence, encourage, and build rapport with candidates at all stages of their career
