Client Overview
Our client is a startup financial technology company that has been operating for 10 months, specializing in financial crime compliance solutions. They have developed a compliance application designed for real estate agents, accountants, lawyers, and conveyancers who must comply with new regulatory requirements effective July 1st. The company is in a high-growth phase with investor backing and plans to scale rapidly from an initial team of three to potentially 300+ team members.

Responsibilities
- Conduct full-cycle B2B sales activities targeting real estate agents, accountants, lawyers, and conveyancers across Australia.
- Close new customer deals and onboard clients to the financial crime compliance application before the July 1st regulatory deadline.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to support both immediate regulatory-driven sales and long-term customer acquisition.
- Educate prospects on mandatory compliance requirements and position the company's solution as the preferred provider.
- Maintain detailed records in the company's CRM system and provide regular reporting on sales activities and results.
- Collaborate with the founding team to refine sales messaging and strategies based on market feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales with demonstrated ability to close deals, not just generate leads.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle sales processes from prospecting through contract closure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical compliance solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes and urgent deadlines.

- Experience selling to regulated industries such as real estate, accounting, legal, or financial services.
- Familiarity with compliance software, financial crime prevention, or regulatory technology solutions.
