Lead Generation Specialist - Solar Industry

Client Overview

Our client is an established solar rebate agency operating in Australia since 2019. They partner with solar installers and retailers to help them access government rebate programs, supporting the growth of renewable energy adoption across the country.

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Telemarketer & Lead Generation Specialist to support outbound sales efforts within the solar energy industry. In this role, you will engage with solar installers and retailers, qualify potential leads, and connect interested prospects with the internal sales team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume calling environment and is motivated by performance targets.

Schedule: 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Australian Eastern Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to solar installers and retailers using provided prospect lists (4,000–5,000 contacts)
  • Generate new leads through additional research and prospecting efforts
  • Qualify prospects and identify potential interest in solar rebate programs
  • Transfer qualified leads to the in-house sales team for closing
  • Meet daily activity targets of 130–150 dials per shift
  • Collaborate with the marketing head for product knowledge and campaign alignment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls and interactions in CRM systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, or lead generation
  • Proven ability to achieve 2–3 qualified appointments per day from ~150 dials
  • Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-up skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and dialer tools (e.g., CallHippo or similar platforms)
