US QuickBooks Bookkeeper

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized US QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage financial records across multiple client accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and is confident using QuickBooks to maintain accurate, up-to-date financial data. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial records, supporting internal accounting processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance team.

Client Overview

The company is a modern accounting and financial services provider focused on delivering reliable, efficient, and tech-driven bookkeeping solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. With a strong emphasis on accuracy, automation, and scalability, the team supports businesses in maintaining clean financial records and making informed decisions.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Time Zone, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping records across 20–30 client accounts, ensuring consistency and compliance with accounting standards
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Record journal entries, categorize transactions, and handle day-to-day data entry tasks within QuickBooks
  • Leverage QuickBooks automation tools and integrations to streamline recurring bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain financial data to support internal accounting teams with reporting, analysis, and higher-level financial functions
  • Monitor financial transactions and proactively flag inconsistencies, unusual activity, or potential errors for review by senior staff
  • Maintain organized digital records and ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready
  • Collaborate with internal team members to improve workflows and maintain high-quality financial reporting standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally handling multiple clients or accounts simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online preferred), including reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and automation features
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts with strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with international clients or remote teams is a plus
