Overview
Join our team as a specialized Pattern Maker focusing on high-quality denim pants, skirts, and dresses. You will leverage your Gerber software expertise to refine technical specifications and provide real-time fit analysis during live virtual sessions to ensure garment excellence.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time (4 hours per day, 20 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Create and modify garment patterns using Gerber software
- Analyze garment details and develop accurate technical specifications
- Write detailed garment specs based on design and construction
- Provide fit comments and pattern adjustments during live model fitting sessions via video conference
- Collaborate with the client and team to ensure proper garment construction and fit
- Work primarily on denim pants, skirts, and dresses
- Maintain organized documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in the garment/fashion industry
- Strong proficiency in Gerber pattern-making software
- Solid understanding of garment construction and fit
- Experience creating technical specs from garment details
- Ability to provide fit analysis and pattern corrections
- Comfortable participating in live virtual fit sessions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong English communication skills
- Preferred: Experience working with denim garments is highly preferred
