Job Overview
We’re looking for a part time Power Platform Specialist who enjoys building smart, reliable solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint. If you like turning messy manual processes into clean and efficient workflows, this role will suit you well. You’ll work with different teams to simplify their daily tasks, boost productivity, and create practical tools that make work easier. You will also support consultants with administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and other Microsoft applications. Along with this, you will assist consultants with general consulting duties related to quality, OH&S, and environmental management systems, including internal audits.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Australian Western Standard Time, 40hrs per week, 1 hour unpaid break
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to reduce repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency.
- Create user friendly Power Apps that simplify business processes and help teams capture and manage data easily.
- Set up and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, and document libraries to support collaboration and information storage.
- Support consultants with admin tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and other Microsoft tools.
- Assist consultants with general consulting tasks related to quality, OH&S, and environmental management systems, including internal audits.
- Analyze current processes, identify pain points, and suggest better ways of working through automation and app development.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing workflows, apps, and SharePoint setups.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, explain solutions, and ensure the final output is practical and easy to use.
- Document processes, updates, and best practices for future reference.
- Train team members so they can use the tools confidently.
Requirements
- Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint site structure, lists, access control, and document management.
- Ability to turn business needs into simple and clear technical solutions.
- Good troubleshooting skills and a steady, patient approach to solving problems.
- Basic understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and how different tools work together.
Nice to Have
- Experience connecting Power Platform tools with external systems or APIs.
- Background in process improvement or business analysis.
- Familiarity with Dataverse and Power BI.
- Knowledge of automation best practices and governance.
