Bilingual RN Medical Receptionist

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a high-caliber Spanish Bilingual Medical Receptionist to be the heartbeat of their remote operations. Leveraging your RN or nursing degree and your mastery of eClinicalWorks, you will serve as a vital link for patients, providing empathetic support in both English and Spanish. If you have a deep understanding of US healthcare, a sharp eye for detail, and the drive to thrive in a PST-aligned remote environment, our client wants your expertise.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming patient calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Utilize medical knowledge to address patient questions and concerns effectively
  • Navigate eClinicalWorks EMR software for accurate data entry and retrieval
  • Provide seamless bilingual support in English and Spanish
  • Collaborate with in-house staff and virtual team members via Microsoft Teams
  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient information updates
  • Ensure strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Contribute to improving overall patient experience and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare customer service
  • Nursing degree; RN is a plus
  • Knowledge in handling US healthcare accounts
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and basic healthcare processes
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly adapt to new software
  • Close attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following HIPAA guidelines
