Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Photoshop Graphic Designer to join their team. This role is primarily focused on static graphic design within a sports media context—covering Australian rules football and cricket—with potential to expand into video editing support over time. You will collaborate closely with the in-house team to align on brand style and content priorities as the partnership matures.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling during Melbourne business hours (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality static social media graphics including quote cards, promotional posts, and swipeable content to support podcast episodes
• Design eye-catching thumbnails for podcast and video content across platforms
• Develop and update story graphics to announce new podcast episodes and live content
• Produce new logos and branding assets as needed to maintain a fresh visual identity
• Build and maintain reusable design templates to ensure brand consistency across all social media channels
• Assist with light video editing tasks as capacity and skills allow

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of social media and digital content work
• Proficiency in Photoshop and familiarity with Canva for versatile content creation
• Strong understanding of current social media design trends and best practices
• High level of attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics
• Ability to take creative direction, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly on designs
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently
