Overview
We are seeking a part-time Social Media Marketing Specialist to take over marketing responsibilities from the founders and drive consistent growth for a growing, London-based fitness facility. This role focuses on Instagram content creation, Meta advertising, and SEO optimization to increase visibility and member conversions beyond seasonal peaks. We're looking for someone who can provide strategic insights to scale the brand, with the potential to expand hours as the role proves successful.
Schedule:
- Flexible hours, part-time (10 hours per week), no set schedule required as role is not client-facing
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule batch social media content, particularly Instagram Reels, using video and photo content provided by the client
- Develop and manage Meta advertising campaigns to drive new member acquisition
- Optimize Google Business profile and website SEO to improve search rankings and local visibility
- Track marketing analytics and conversion metrics to identify which channels are driving new members
- Make strategic recommendations and implement new marketing initiatives to accelerate business growth beyond seasonal patterns
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation
- Proven expertise in Instagram content creation, particularly Reels editing and production (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Demonstrated experience managing Meta Ads and Google Business profiles with measurable results
- Portfolio of previous social media work, particularly in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle industries
- Experience with website SEO optimization and basic website content updates
- Background working with small businesses or startups in a hands-on marketing capacity
