Our client is an Australian recruitment agency specializing in IT and engineering talent solutions across multiple industries nationwide. As they continue expanding into niche-focused recruitment services, they are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy professional to support business development, client engagement, and recruitment operations in a fast-paced remote environment.
Our client is looking for an IT Business Development Representative who will focus on outbound lead generation, appointment setting, and relationship building for IT recruitment services. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of IT terminology, and the confidence to engage with prospective clients over the phone.
You will manage a high-volume pipeline of leads, maintain accurate CRM records, and support recruitment coordination activities when needed. This is a full-time remote role with long-term growth opportunities into recruitment coordination and leadership positions.
Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM PHT, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold and warm calls to generate interest in IT recruitment services
- Qualify prospective clients and schedule virtual meetings with senior leadership
- Manage and maintain lead pipelines using Zoho CRM
- Record all client and candidate interactions accurately within the CRM platform
- Send introduction emails and follow-up communications using company email systems
- Build rapport with prospects and adapt communication approaches naturally during conversations
- Support candidate screening and shortlisting activities when recruitment assistance is required
- Maintain organized records of communications, follow-ups, and appointment outcomes
- Collaborate with internal team members using communication and productivity platforms
- Meet appointment-setting and outreach activity targets consistently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, business development, sales, lead generation, or customer service
- Strong understanding of IT concepts, including software development, cybersecurity, coding, and AI
- Professional verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable handling high-volume outbound calling activities
- Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
- Available to work full-time Australian business hours
Nice-to-have
- Experience using Zoho CRM or similar CRM/ATS platforms
- Familiarity with Slack or other collaboration tools
- Previous experience in appointment setting or sales conversion roles
- Background in technical support or IT-related customer service
- Coding knowledge or cybersecurity exposure
- Recruitment industry experience, particularly in IT hiring
