eCommerce Virtual Assistant (Shopify & Customer Support)

Overview

Join a fast-growing startup as a key operational partner, where you will directly influence the customer experience and help scale a brand from the ground up. This role is perfect for a proactive Shopify expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing diverse daily operations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Boca Raton, Florida Eastern Time (7 hours per day / 35 hours per week with 1 hour unpaid break)

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer service inquiries via email, chat, and support platforms
  • Handle returns and exchanges using tools like REDO or similar systems
  • Maintain and update the Shopify store (products, orders, basic troubleshooting)
  • Support daily operations including scheduling, calendar management, and task tracking
  • Assist in organizing workflows, SOPs, and project management systems
  • Provide general eCommerce support to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Proactively identify issues and suggest improvements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or eCommerce Assistant
  • Strong background in customer service (highly important)
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with ticketing systems or CRM tools is a plus
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
