Client Overview

Our client is a financial services professional based in the United States specializing in insurance, annuities, and related financial products. They are looking to build a strong social media presence to generate leads and establish expertise in their market.

Job Overview

This role will start part-time at 20 hours per week with strong potential to transition to full-time based on performance and lead generation results. The position combines social media management, content creation, and marketing support to drive inbound leads and appointment bookings. The ideal candidate will develop organic social media strategies and help launch webinar campaigns focused on annuities and financial education.

Schedule: Flexible within Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Mountain Standard Time 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement organic social media strategies across multiple platforms to build brand presence and authority in financial services.

  • Create and manage content calendars with regular posts, educational content, and engagement initiatives.

  • Implement hashtag and SEO strategies to increase visibility and reach target audiences. Support simple website management to drive appointment bookings and showcase expertise.

  • Assist with webinar setup, promotion, and marketing campaigns focused on annuities and financial education.

  • Generate and nurture inbound leads through social media engagement and content marketing.

  • Potential to transition into appointment setting responsibilities as lead volume increases.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience as a social media specialist with proven ability to develop organic growth strategies.

  • Strong content creation skills including copywriting and content calendar management.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of hashtag research and SEO optimization for social platforms. 

  • Experience driving measurable results such as lead generation or appointment bookings through social media.

Nice to have:

  • Background or experience in financial services, insurance, or annuities industries. Appointment setting or sales support experience.

  • Familiarity with webinar platforms and digital event promotion.

  • Website management or basic web content updating capabilities.
