Work Schedule: 40hrs per week, 8am - 5pm with 1 hour unpaid break | Australian Eastern Time
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Market Research (Month 1 Focus)
Conduct in-depth research using Google, directories, and other online platforms to identify potential commercial clients (e.g., aged care facilities, childcare centers, retail shops, and other commercial establishments).
Build and maintain a qualified database of prospects within target areas (primarily CBD and high-density commercial zones in Queensland).
Identify key decision-makers and “door openers” within target organizations.
Analyze market opportunities and identify gaps aligned with company services. - Outreach & Prospecting
Execute high-volume outbound outreach via email and other channels.
Introduce company services and generate interest among prospects.
Develop and implement follow-up strategies to nurture leads.
Maintain consistent communication with prospects to move them through the sales funnel. - Sales Development & Conversion (Month 2 Onwards)
Qualify leads and coordinate with internal teams for quotation preparation.
Present proposals and follow through with prospects to close deals.
Work closely with onshore teams for pricing, scope, and technical support.
Track and manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to closing. - Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with the marketing team for supporting materials and campaigns (while owning 80–90% of lead generation efforts).
Provide regular updates on pipeline status, outreach performance, and conversion metrics.
Report directly to the Head of Sales / GM and align with overall sales strategy.
Requirements

Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Lead Generation

Experience in offshore sales or remote client engagement is highly preferred

Background in B2B or commercial sales (construction, painting, or related industries is a plus)
- Confident in high-volume outreach and follow-ups
- Strong understanding of sales processes and pipeline management

Additional Notes
This is a full-cycle sales role (from lead generation to closing).
Marketing support will be provided, but the role is expected to generate the majority of its own leads. Initial focus will be on commercial painting services, with potential expansion to other sectors over time.
