Legal Content Manager (Disputes & Insolvency)

About the Firm

We are a premier Sydney-based boutique law firm specializing in high-stakes disputes and insolvency. Our firm is defined by a commitment to ‘Mastery That Matters’—providing sophisticated, commercially-driven solutions for clients at the highest levels of the market. We operate with the precision of a top-tier firm and the agility of a boutique, offering a high-performance environment for professionals who take pride in their craft.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Legal Content Manager to serve as our strategic editorial voice. This is a senior, remote role for a legally trained professional who can bridge the gap between technical law and market influence. You won't just be "writing articles"; you will be translating complex legal successes into a compelling commercial narrative that resonates with C-suite executives and global legal directories.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Thought Leadership: Produce high-impact articles, client alerts, and case studies that position the firm as the primary authority in disputes and insolvency.
  • Global Directory Submissions: Lead the end-to-end drafting and submission process for Chambers, Legal 500, and Doyles Guide, ensuring our most complex matters are framed for maximum market impact.
  • Executive Ghostwriting: Partner with firm leadership to manage their LinkedIn presence, turning their technical expertise into sophisticated, engaging thought leadership.
  • BD & Pitch Support: Draft and refine high-stakes pitch documents, credentials, and capability statements that win new instructions from sophisticated clients.
  • Brand Guardianship: Act as the final editor for all digital content, ensuring every blog post, landing page, and update meets our ‘Mastery That Matters’ standard.

Who You Are

  • Legally Trained: A Law degree (LLB or JD) is highly preferred. You must have the ability to digest a complex court judgment and immediately identify the commercial "so what?"
  • Experienced: 2+ years of experience writing legal or professional services content, ideally within an Australian law firm or specialist agency.
  • Commercially Savvy: You understand that great legal writing is a business development tool, designed to drive engagement and win work.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a "zero-tolerance" policy for errors. You believe that precision is the foundation of professional credibility.
  • Self-Directed: You are a proactive researcher who stays ahead of legal developments and identifies content opportunities before they are assigned.

Role Details

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (AEST/AEDT) - but can have some flexibility around this
  • Location: 100% Remote (Independent Contractor).
