CRM Automation & Lead Generation Specialist (GoHighLevel)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled GoHighLevel (GHL) Specialist & Operations Manager to own and manage the full CRM ecosystem, automation workflows, and outbound lead generation processes.

This is not a general VA role. The ideal candidate is a hands-on GHL expert who can build, optimize, and troubleshoot automations, funnels, and outreach systems independently—while also executing outbound campaigns and managing leads from first touch to booked call.

Work Schedule: 40hrs per week, Flexible within client's business hours | Eastern Time

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Platform Management

  • Own and manage the GoHighLevel system (pipelines, workflows, tags, and automations)
  • Maintain clean, organized data and proper segmentation
  • Set up user permissions, system structure, and documentation (SOPs)
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

Automation & Campaign Management

  • Build and manage email and SMS automation workflows
  • Create sequences across the customer lifecycle (lead gen, nurture, follow-ups)
  • Test and optimize campaigns for performance (open rates, conversions)
  • Integrate tools such as Stripe, Zapier, and other systems

Outbound Lead Generation

  • Execute outbound campaigns (email and LinkedIn outreach)
  • Manage contact imports, sequencing, and pipeline progression
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and email replies
  • Schedule discovery calls and manage lead flow
  • Track and report outreach performance

Funnel & Landing Page Development

  • Build landing pages and funnels within GHL
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and basic SEO setup
  • Set up tracking, forms, and conversion events
  • Test all user flows before launch

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain clean and structured contact databases
  • Segment leads based on behavior and lifecycle stage
  • Generate weekly reports on pipeline, conversions, and performance
  • Ensure data accuracy and system reliability

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building in GoHighLevel
  • Strong experience with automation workflows, funnels, and landing pages
  • Experience executing outbound campaigns (email + LinkedIn)
  • Strong written and spoken English (C1–C2 level)
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance productivity

Nice to have:

  • Experience with payment systems like Stripe
  • Familiarity with integrations using Zapier or similar tools
  • Experience with funnel-based lead generation or online courses
  • Basic understanding of SEO and landing page optimization
  • Experience with CRM migrations or multi-system integrations
