Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Flexible within Hawaii business hours (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive bookkeeping for holding company and subsidiary entities
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of all accounts and financial transactions
  • Consolidate financial statements across multiple business entities
  • Maintain accurate and timely recording of all revenue and expense transactions
  • Ensure proper classification and coding of transactions within Xero
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliation summaries
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial instruments
  • Support month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation

Requirements

  • Experience working with multi-entity business structures (parent/subsidiary relationships)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
  • Strong foundation in bookkeeping principles and monthly reconciliation processes
  • Bonus if you have experience with financial statement consolidation
  • It helps if you have previous experience supporting professional services firms
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping
