Data & Systems Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and tech-savvy Data & Systems Specialist to manage and optimize our data infrastructure, reporting systems, and IT environment.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate business insights, seamless system functionality, and efficient operations across EMR, communication, and collaboration platforms. You’ll play a key role in turning data into actionable insights while maintaining the reliability of our internal systems.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Georgia time 

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Track and report on key business metrics, including:
    • Production, collections, refunds
    • Accounts receivable
    • Patient visits (new vs. existing)
    • Procedure mix and case acceptance
    • Provider utilization
    • Patient acquisition cost
    • Internal referral conversion
    • Google review ratings and volume
  • Deliver actionable insights to support business decisions

Data Management

  • Extract, clean, and validate data from EMR and other operational systems
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reports
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems

IT Administration

  • Manage Google Workspace (user accounts, permissions, access control)
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain system access and ensure security best practices

Communication Systems

  • Manage phone systems, including call routing and phone tree setup
  • Provide support for connectivity issues (internet, printers, remote access)

EMR Support

  • Manage setup, configurations, and updates in eClinicalWorks (or similar EMR systems)
  • Support process improvements and workflow optimization within the EMR

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and timeliness of dashboards and reports
  • On-time delivery of weekly/monthly reporting
  • System uptime and reliability
  • Efficiency of onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Data integrity and consistency

Qualifications

Required

  • Proven experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing Google Workspace
  • Ability to work with and interpret complex datasets
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with App Scripts, automation tools, or basic coding
  • Experience supporting IT systems and troubleshooting technical issues
