Social Media & E-Commerce Marketing Specialist (Shopify & TikTok)

We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media & E-Commerce Marketing Specialist to take full ownership of a brand launch from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in building brand presence, crafting engaging content, and turning marketing strategies into real business impact.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing a full social media strategy, managing campaigns across multiple platforms, and ensuring consistent, high-quality content that builds strong brand awareness. You’ll also plan content calendars aligned with product launches, track campaign performance, and provide insights that directly influence marketing and sales decisions.

Schedule

  • Flexible during Client Business hours, AEST; 20hrs per week

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media and marketing strategy to support the brand launch
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across social media platforms to build brand awareness
  • Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels through regular, engaging content
  • Plan and execute content calendars aligned with product launches and promotional goals
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to optimize marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with the business owner to align marketing initiatives with sales and inventory priorities

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing, preferably for e-commerce brands
  • Experience with Shopify and integrating marketing efforts within the platform
  • Strong written communication skills and a high level of responsiveness
  • High attention to detail in content creation and campaign execution
  • TikTok marketing experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the full marketing process

Scope

  • End-to-end ownership of social media strategy, from planning through execution
  • Focus on launching and growing an online pet care e-commerce brand in the Australian market
  • Align content and campaigns with the brand's unique product positioning and value propositions
  • Provide strategic guidance to the business owner on marketing best practices
