E-commerce Customer Support Specialist (Pharmaceuticals)

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a professional Customer Support Specialist to manage multi-channel interactions across several e-commerce platforms. You will be the primary point of contact for customers across Southeast Asia and Australia, providing expert product guidance and proactive sales recovery. This role is ideal for someone with a background in health products who can maintain a high standard of service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM Singapore Time, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week) Note: This role operates within a 16-hour daily coverage window (9:00 AM to 11:00 PM SGT) across rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries across Shopify, TikTok Shop, Lazada, and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate pharmaceutical and product-related information to customers seeking guidance.
  • Follow up with customers who have abandoned their carts via WhatsApp messaging and outbound calls to recover potential sales.
  • Maintain brand consistency and a high standard of service across all communication channels.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive customer issues to the appropriate internal team members.
  • Track and document all customer interactions to ensure seamless handovers between shifts.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail when handling product-related queries.
  • Ability to work independently across rotating shifts within a 16-hour daily coverage window.
  • Reliable equipment and internet connection for remote work.

Qualifications

  • Pharmaceutical or health product knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude is a plus.
