Our client is looking for a versatile Sales and Marketing Manager to drive growth through a combination of proactive lead generation, strategic sales execution, and comprehensive digital marketing management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle—from identifying prospects to closing deals—while simultaneously maintaining the brand's presence across social media and email channels.

Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Researching and identifying target customers or industries
- Reaching out via cold calls, emails, or DMs
- Following up consistently with leads
- Keeping a pipeline of prospects moving forward
Sales Execution
- Conducting sales calls (discovery, presentations, closing)
- Understanding customer needs and matching solutions
- Handling objections and negotiating when needed
- Tracking deals and updating CRM systems
- Hitting weekly/monthly sales targets
Social Media Management
- Creating and scheduling posts (promotions, education, brand awareness)
- Engaging with followers (comments, DMs, inquiries)
- Monitoring trends and adjusting content strategy
- Driving traffic to offers, landing pages, or direct conversations
Email Marketing
- Building and segmenting email lists
- Writing and sending campaigns (promotions, newsletters, follow-ups)
- Setting up automated sequences (welcome emails, drip campaigns)
- Tracking open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
Content Creation & Branding
- Writing captions, emails, and basic marketing copy
- Coordinating or creating graphics/videos (sometimes using tools like Canva)
- Keeping messaging consistent with the brand voice
- Promoting products, services, or special offers
Requirements
1. Proven Sales & Closing Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a quota-carrying sales role, business development, or direct-response marketing position.
- Verifiable track record of converting cold or warm leads into paying customers (via phone, Zoom, or direct messaging).
- Extreme comfort with proactive outbound prospecting (cold calling, DM outreach, or cold emailing).
2. Exceptional Copywriting Skills
- Strong, persuasive copywriting skills with a solid grasp of brand voice, grammar, and formatting.
- Ability to write for different mediums (short-form social media captions, long-form email newsletters, and direct sales outreach).
3. Digital Marketing & Tool Proficiency
- Hands-on experience managing professional social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to drive business outcomes, not just personal use.
- Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track leads and manage a sales pipeline.
- Practical knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign) and an understanding of basic email segmentation.
4. Foundational Content Creation
- Basic proficiency in visual content creation tools (like Canva) to create clean, on-brand graphics or short videos for social media and email.
5. Essential Soft Skills for a Generalist
- High degree of autonomy and self-management; ability to prioritize tasks without micromanagement.
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail, specifically regarding lead follow-up and pipeline management.
