Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Insurance | Remote


Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support a fast-growing insurance agency specializing in home insurance products.

This role focuses on high-volume outbound calling, lead qualification, and live transfers to the sales team. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, experienced in cold outreach, and able to consistently engage aged and new leads in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST
  • Client timezone: Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to aged, cold, and new leads
  • Qualify prospects and transfer warm leads to the sales team via live transfers
  • Manage and update lead data accurately in CRM systems
  • Handle inbound inquiries and convert them into qualified opportunities
  • Follow structured sales scripts while adapting communication to improve conversion rates
  • Meet daily and weekly targets for calls, connections, and transfers
  • Re-engage dormant or previously contacted leads to generate new opportunities

Must-Have Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or SDR roles
  • Prior experience in insurance sales (required)
  • Strong background in high-volume cold calling environments
  • Excellent verbal communication and persuasive phone skills
  • Professional phone presence with the ability to handle rejection effectively
  • Experience using CRM systems and dialers such as PhoneBurner, Ricochet, or similar tools
  • Strong performance mindset in target-driven roles

Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • Familiarity with insurance CRMs such as Agency Zoom or similar platforms
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience handling both inbound and outbound lead engagement
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup
