SharePoint Administrator | SEO Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an SEO Specialist / SharePoint Administrator to manage and optimize their SharePoint environment while leading in-house SEO initiatives. This dual-function role requires a blend of technical systems expertise and marketing knowledge to streamline internal workflows through automation, improve organic search performance, and ensure alignment with external SEO partners.

This role will work closely with leadership and external partners to drive continuous improvement across systems and marketing efforts.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST, with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • SharePoint Administration & Automation: Manage, maintain, and optimize the SharePoint environment; build automations to streamline internal workflows; identify and implement improvements to system functionality; and ensure proper organization and accessibility of files and data.
  • SEO Strategy & Execution: Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies; optimize content to improve organic search rankings; support content creation aligned with brand guidelines; and monitor performance to recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration & Ownership: Take ownership of SharePoint and SEO functions while reporting directly to leadership; liaise with external SEO partners to maximize ROI; and align in-house activities with the broader marketing strategy.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with ad hoc data entry tasks and support broader team operations during quieter periods to ensure continuous improvement in systems and marketing.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in SharePoint administration and automation
  • Solid understanding of SEO (keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy)
  • Ability to collaborate with external partners and internal teams
  • Professional written and verbal English communication skills
  • Close attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
