Service Coordinator | Home Services

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a dedicated and organized professional to serve as the central liaison between the business owner, clients, and field contractors. This role is vital in streamlining communication, managing the service pipeline, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction through proactive follow-up and precise scheduling.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Customer Liaison: Answer inbound client calls and serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries.
  • Scheduling Coordination: Manage contractor availability and confirm appointments to avoid conflicts; coordinate communication between clients and contractors to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Lead Management: Follow up on open estimates to drive conversions and prevent leads from going cold.
  • Client Retention: Conduct post-job follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and collect reviews; perform proactive outbound outreach to the existing database to re-engage past customers.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain and update the client database and job records within Jobber; support the standardization of estimate and pricing processes for common services.
  • Performance Focus: Contribute to reducing missed leads and improving overall client retention through consistent and professional follow-up.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service or administrative support, preferably in a home services or construction environment.
  • Familiarity with field service management platforms such as Jobber or similar scheduling tools.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly phone presence.
  • High level of attention to detail, particularly around scheduling and follow-up processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities without direct supervision.
  • Comfortable coordinating with independent contractors and adapting to varying availability.
