Sales Development Representative (SDR)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential business clients in the financial services sector, with a focus on foreign currency trading operations across key Asia-Pacific markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and outreach to target businesses operating in foreign currency trading
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through research, cold calling, and email outreach
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand client needs and pain points
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings with the sales team
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all prospect interactions and activities
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop effective outreach strategies
- Meet or exceed monthly activity and pipeline targets
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as an SDR, business development representative, or similar sales role
- Strong prospecting and sales skills with excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of or interest in the financial services industry is beneficial
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and resilience to handle rejection
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
Location
This role focuses on outreach within the Singapore and Hong Kong regions.
