Overview:
Our client operates an adult paint and sip events business in Melbourne, Victoria. They are launching as an independent business after previously operating under a franchise model and need to build their brand presence from the ground up.
We are seeking a Social Media Assistant with paid advertising experience to support the launch and growth of an events-based business. This role will focus on increasing brand visibility, generating organic reach, and driving customer inquiries through strategic social media management and paid campaigns. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with social media advertising platforms and a proven track record of building engaged audiences.
Schedule: Mon to Fri (Part time - flexible during client business hours, 20 hours per week)
Time Zone: Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Melbourne, Victoria)
Responsibilities:

Create and manage social media posts across platforms including Instagram and other relevant channels

Design, implement, and optimize sponsored ad campaigns to drive business inquiries and event bookings

Develop strategies to increase organic reach and grow social media following from ground zero

Implement SEO optimization strategies to improve online visibility and discoverability

Provide strategic recommendations on digital marketing approaches to maximize business exposure and lead generation
Requirements:

2 to 5 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing

Proven experience creating and managing paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook Ads and Google Ads

Demonstrated ability to grow social media presence and generate organic engagement
