Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Revit Technician with strong residential renovation experience to support the modelling and documentation of existing and proposed residential projects. This role will involve working with LiDAR-generated point cloud data to accurately model existing conditions in Autodesk Revit, develop renovation proposals, and support BIM documentation workflows. Experience working with phased renovation projects and highly detailed modeling standards is essential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong in Revit, and comfortable working independently within a remote and flexible work environment.

Client Overview

Our client is an Australian residential design firm specializing in renovation and residential projects. The team focuses on delivering high-quality design documentation and BIM workflows using modern technologies such as LiDAR scanning and Revit-based modelling to support accurate and efficient project delivery.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, Flexible anytime as long as jobs are completed on time (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Model existing residential structures in Autodesk Revit using 3D point cloud data from LiDAR scans, ensuring high accuracy for existing conditions
• Develop proposed renovation designs within Revit based on project briefs and direction from the principals
• Work with Revit phases to clearly distinguish between existing conditions, demolition works, and proposed construction
• Set up and maintain Revit templates, schedules, and sheet sets to support standardized project delivery
• Produce high-quality documentation and BIM model outputs for renovation projects
• Assist with rendering and visualization tasks using Enscape or D5 Render when required
• Collaborate with the internal team to maintain modelling standards and workflow efficiency
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all project documentation

Requirements

• A portfolio must be presented
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit with a focus on residential and renovation projects
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting or BIM modelling
• Experience working with 3D point clouds or LiDAR data for existing conditions modelling is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of BIM modelling principles, particularly within phased renovation environments
• Ability to accurately interpret spatial and scanned data
• Experience with residential renovation workflows preferred
• Experience using Enscape or D5 Render is advantageous but not essential
• Reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup
