Job Overview

Our client is looking for a proven Podcast Project Manager with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of operational processes. This role is designed for a self-starter who will manage the full client lifecycle, from onboarding through project completion, effectively replacing the owner's direct involvement in day-to-day operations. You will handle email outreach workflows, support podcast production through post-recording editing, and proactively identify speaking engagement opportunities for the business owner.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Phoenix, AZ, with a 30-minute paid break

Responsibilities:

• Independently guide each client through a structured series of steps within the project management platform
• Send tailored email pitches to prospective contacts on behalf of clients using provided spreadsheets and templates
• Edit podcast recordings in Descript, including trimming content and preparing final files for distribution
• Research and pitch speaking event opportunities for the business owner
• Leverage ChatGPT to draft and refine outreach communications
• Maintain organized records and update project statuses within Smartsheet

Requirements:

• Proven project management experience with the ability to work independently and take ownership of processes
• Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn Smartsheet or similar project management software
• Experience with Descript, Slack, and Google Drive
• Strong written communication skills for professional email outreach
• High level of attention to detail and ability to follow detailed SOPs without oversight
• Self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Scope:

• Manage the full client lifecycle from onboarding through project completion
• Handle email outreach and pitching workflows across multiple client accounts
• Support podcast production from post-recording editing through publishing and related communications
• Identify and pursue speaking engagement opportunities for the business owner
• Operate as the primary project manager, replacing the owner's direct involvement in day-to-day operations
