Customer Service & Logistics Specialist

Job Overview

We're seeking for a highly organized Customer Service & Logistics Specialist to support their luxury furniture and interior design business. This role is responsible for managing customer orders after purchase, coordinating shipments and deliveries, tracking order progress, and providing exceptional client communication throughout the fulfillment process.

The ideal candidate has experience in logistics coordination, order management, shipping support, or post-sale customer service. Experience supporting luxury brands, high-end retail, interior design firms, or premium clientele is strongly preferred.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM US Pacific Time, with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from confirmation through final delivery.
  • Track orders, shipments, and delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding existing orders.
  • Proactively communicate order status updates, shipping timelines, delays, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, warehouses, freight carriers, and delivery partners.
  • Resolve shipping issues, damaged goods claims, delivery exceptions, and order discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, customer communications, and logistics activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Provide white-glove service consistent with a luxury brand experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, order management, shipping support, supply chain support, or post-order customer service.
  • Strong experience handling order tracking, delivery coordination, and customer communication.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and business software applications.

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting luxury brands, high-end retail, furniture companies, interior design firms, or premium clientele.
  • Experience providing luxury or white-glove customer service.
  • Familiarity with freight shipping, delivery coordination, inventory management, or vendor management.
  • Experience handling high-value orders and discerning customers.
  • Knowledge of order management, logistics, or fulfillment platforms.
