Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen & Cabinetry Design Specialist (2020 Design Software) with strong experience in kitchen design and technical drafting. This role is ideal for a design professional who combines creativity with technical expertise and thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed kitchen layouts using 2020 Design software, coordinating with clients and internal teams, maintaining design documentation, and supporting project scheduling and administrative workflows.

Schedule:

• Full-time: 40 hours a week flexible during client business hours

• Client Time-zone: Ontario, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and accurate kitchen designs using 2020 Design software based on client measurements and specifications
• Develop cabinetry, flooring, and stone layout concepts aligned with project requirements and client preferences
• Upload, organize, and manage digital product catalogs including cabinetry, flooring, and stone materials
• Conduct client design consultations to discuss layouts, revisions, finishes, and design adjustments
• Modify and refine kitchen plans based on client feedback and project requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams to support scheduling, logistics, and project workflow management
• Maintain organized project files, revisions, and documentation within design platforms and company systems
• Utilize technical design software to support drafting, rendering, and spatial planning requirements
• Assist with administrative and coordination tasks related to ongoing interior design projects
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed accurately and within deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience using 2020 Design software (mandatory)
• Formal education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong technical design background with experience using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar platforms
• Solid understanding of 3D modeling, cabinetry planning, stone layouts, and spatial design principles
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing consultation and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple catalogs, revisions, and design updates efficiently
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on kitchen, cabinetry, or residential interior design projects
• Familiarity with project scheduling and coordination workflows
• Experience supporting both technical design and administrative functions within a design environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project timelines

Scope of Work:

• Provide consistent 8-hour daily coverage for design, coordination, and administrative responsibilities
• Support a hybrid role combining technical interior design, scheduling coordination, and administrative support
• Utilize existing software subscriptions and internal systems for project management and design execution
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project workflow and timely delivery
• Handle flexible task assignments ranging from technical drafting to coordination and documentation management
