Shift & Schedule
- Status: Full-time (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day)
- Days: Mon to Fri, 9AM – 6PM EST
- Break: 1-hour unpaid break
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will handle the day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality service. Your main duties will include:
- QuickBooks Management: Master and manage daily bookkeeping tasks across both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online versions.
- Backlog & Catch-Up Work: Tackle historical backlogs with speed and efficiency to ensure all client financial records are accurate and fully up-to-date.
- Standardization: Implement and maintain a highly consistent Chart of Accounts across multiple client profiles, ensuring accurate expense allocation.
- Payroll Processing: Accurately manage and process diverse payroll schedules for various clients (including weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly).
- Reconciliations & Reporting: Perform meticulous bank/credit card account reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our accounting team to ensure timely, precise, and seamless year-end and monthly financial reporting.
- Client Adaptation: Show versatility by adapting quickly to the unique financial needs and nuances of different client industries.
Qualifications & Expertise Required
- Software Mastery: Proven, hands-on experience utilizing both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is strictly required.
- Multi-Client Experience: Previous experience working within an accounting or bookkeeping firm managing multiple client accounts simultaneously is highly preferred.
- Payroll Proficiency: Strong background in handling various US payroll frequencies and compliance.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional data entry skills with a laser focus on accurate expense categorization and standardized charts of accounts.
- Reliability & Setup: A dependable home office setup with high-speed internet, capable of working the US Eastern night shift consistently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for seamless internal collaboration.
