Sales Support Specialist (Inbound & Outbound)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assisting prospective and existing customers through inbound and outbound communication, supporting the sales process, and helping ensure a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry to follow-up.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in communication, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where relationship-building and responsiveness are key.

Schedule: Mon to Fri, 10AM – 7PM EST with a 1-hour unpaid break. (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound inquiries from prospective and existing customers through phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups to nurture leads, confirm appointments, and support sales initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and updates in CRM systems
  • Assist the sales team with administrative and operational support tasks
  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing timely, professional, and solution-oriented communication
  • Qualify leads and gather relevant customer information for the sales team
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth customer onboarding and issue resolution
  • Meet daily and weekly outreach, response, and performance targets
  • Support customer retention efforts through consistent follow-up and engagement
  • Generate and source targeted prospect lists using Apollo.io based on ideal customer profiles
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and duplicate-free lead databases
  • Segment leads across healthcare-related industries such as home healthcare, dental clinics, and medical centers
  • Deliver approximately 300 qualified contacts daily and 1,500 weekly
  • Distribute leads evenly among sales representatives while ensuring timely delivery for outreach campaigns

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, telemarketing, or a similar role preferred at least 2 years
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Comfortable handling both inbound and outbound calls
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
  • Experience using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and communication tools is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach
