Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to create high-converting short-form video ads for Facebook and TikTok campaigns. This role combines creative storytelling, AI-generated content production, and direct-response marketing principles to produce engaging ads that drive measurable business results. The ideal candidate has strong experience editing e-commerce and direct-response advertising content, understands consumer psychology, and can create authentic UGC-style (User Generated Content) creatives that blend naturally into social media feeds.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Amsterdam [GMT+2] Time (20 hours per week) 

Responsibilities

  • Video Ad Production: Transform creative briefs and scripts into compelling short-form video ads ranging from 40 seconds to 3 minutes in length.
  • AI & UGC Integration: Create realistic AI-generated, UGC-style content while maintaining an authentic and native social media feel.
  • Post-Production Techniques: Apply professional editing techniques including captioning, motion graphics, audio mixing, and visual enhancements.
  • Funnel Content Customization: Develop targeted content tailored specifically to different stages of the marketing funnel, including Top of Funnel (TOF), Middle of Funnel (MOF), and Bottom of Funnel (BOF).
  • Conversion Optimization: Produce scroll-stopping hooks and engagement-driven creatives optimized for conversion to ensure content feels organic rather than traditional advertising.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategist to align visual content with defined customer avatars, promotional offers, and brand messaging.
  • Iterative Production Support: Support rapid content production cycles and creative testing initiatives to determine winning ad formats.

Requirements

  • Editing Experience: 2–5+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Paid Social Fluency: Strong experience editing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other paid social advertising creatives.
  • AI Tool Implementation: Experience working with AI video generation tools and managing AI-assisted editing workflows.
  • Direct-Response Marketing: Strong understanding of direct-response marketing principles, customer awareness levels, and conversion-focused content.
  • Narrative Design: Strong storytelling, pacing, and creative decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail regarding captions, hooks, and visual engagement.
  • Autonomy: Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to brand standards, and meet deadlines independently in a remote setting.

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory) Applicants must provide a comprehensive portfolio showcasing:

  • Facebook and TikTok ad creatives
  • UGC-style content
  • AI-generated or AI-assisted video projects
  • E-commerce or direct-response marketing campaigns
  • Note: Applications without relevant portfolio samples will not be considered.

Qualifications

  • Experience editing or creating content within the skincare, cosmetics, and beauty e-commerce niches.
  • Initial availability for 20 hours per week, with the personal capacity and interest to scale to full-time (40+ hours per week) as campaigns grow.
