Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager with a strong Finance or Accounting background to support the day-to-day management of residential real estate properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential property management, financial reporting, tenant relations, and administrative operations. Experience working with Homeowners Associations (HOAs) is highly preferred but not required. This role will begin on a part-time basis and requires availability Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities
Property Management
- Manage daily operations of residential rental properties.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, owners, vendors, and contractors.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, and property inspections.
- Monitor lease compliance and assist with lease administration.
- Handle tenant communications regarding inquiries, concerns, and property-related issues.
- Assist with tenant onboarding, move-ins, move-outs, and renewals.
Finance & Accounting
- Track rental income, expenses, and property budgets.
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare financial reports, rent rolls, and property performance summaries.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
HOA Administration (Preferred)
- Coordinate with HOA boards, management companies, and vendors.
- Monitor HOA compliance requirements and communications.
- Track HOA fees, assessments, and related financial records.
- Assist in handling HOA-related inquiries and documentation.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized property records and databases.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation.
- Manage calendars, appointments, and vendor scheduling.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management.
- Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related background.
- Strong understanding of property management financials and reporting.
- Experience with rent collection, budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Homeowners Associations (HOAs).
- Knowledge of property management software (AppFolio, Buildium, Propertyware, Yardi, or similar).
- Experience managing multiple residential properties.
- Accounting certification or relevant finance qualifications.
