Overview
We are seeking an experienced Spanish Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal (Property Damage) to support our legal team in managing cases involving motor vehicle accidents, property damage claims, and related personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will handle client communication, documentation, follow-up, and case coordination while ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of personal injury processes—especially property damage claims.
Responsibilities
- Handle and manage property damage claims, including repair estimates, total loss evaluations, rental arrangements, and communication with insurance adjusters
- Assist with personal injury cases, including gathering medical records, police reports, and other supporting documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and guiding them through the property damage and personal injury claim process.
- Prepare and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and filed properly.
- Follow up with insurance companies, medical providers, and repair shops to ensure timely resolution of claims.
- Track deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure compliance with required timelines.
- Conduct initial screenings to gather facts and evaluate claim details.
- Draft correspondence, summaries, and reports as needed by the legal team.
- Assist attorneys during case preparation and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law, with strong property damage experience required.
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English
- In-depth understanding of property damage workflows, insurance claim processes, and negotiation with adjusters.
- Familiarity with personal injury litigation processes is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability duly to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using case management software and standard office applications.
- Strong client service orientation and ability to work with individuals experiencing stressful situations.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
