Job Overview

Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Short-Term Rental Specialist to manage guest communications and coordination during overnight hours. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests across various booking platforms, ensuring high satisfaction, prompt responses, and seamless issue resolution.

Schedule

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST (32 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Respond to all guest inquiries across booking platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) via Guesty within one hour of receipt during overnight shifts.
• Create and assign maintenance work orders in Breezeway when guest issues arise, including detailed descriptions and appropriate maintenance personnel assignments.
• Provide a comprehensive overnight summary and handoff report to the daytime property management team each morning.
• Monitor and manage all incoming guest communications via text and email throughout the shift, ensuring no inquiries go unanswered.
• Forward any guest phone calls to the appropriate property manager and document the nature of the call.
• Maintain a professional and empathetic tone in all guest-facing communications to uphold the company's reputation across platforms.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the short-term rental or vacation rental industry, including familiarity with platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO.
• Experience using Guesty or similar property management software that consolidates multiple booking channels.
• Effective written communication skills with the ability to craft professional and timely guest responses. 
• High level of attention to detail to ensure all inquiries are addressed and work orders are accurately logged.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
• Proactive communication style with a focus on over-communicating rather than under-communicating.
