Our client is a premier wedding photography and videography studio managing multiple intersecting brands and an upcoming application launch. Producing content for approximately 150 weddings annually, they are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to take full ownership of their digital presence. In this role, you will curate stunning visual assets from extensive digital galleries to create a cohesive, high-end aesthetic that resonates deeply with couples. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who understands social media algorithms and can seamlessly transition a massive volume of raw content into a strategic, engaging narrative.

Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST [Australian Eastern Standard Time] (35 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Content Curation: Review and select the highest-quality imagery and video clips from extensive wedding galleries to maintain a premium, luxury brand aesthetic.
- Scheduling & Strategy: Create, organize, and execute comprehensive monthly content calendars with a highly consistent posting cadence across all active channels.
- Algorithm Optimization: Manage social media advertising campaigns and organic posts, dynamically adjusting distribution strategies based on real-time platform performance and reach analytics.
- Workflow Innovation: Recommend and implement modern social media management tools and digital systems to streamline the high-volume content pipeline.
- Creative Leadership: Develop fresh content strategies, visual hooks, and interactive formats that align with modern wedding industry trends and upcoming brand milestones.
Requirements
- Proven Expertise: Demonstrated professional experience managing corporate or studio social media platforms with a deep operational understanding of current algorithms.
- Visual Taste: A strong creative eye and sophisticated visual taste specifically suited for high-quality, luxury photography and videography curation.
- Independence: Ability to work completely autonomously, take immediate initiative, and contribute creative ideas without constant administrative supervision.
- Linguistic Standard: Excellent written English skills for crafting engaging captions, storytelling copy, and elegant brand messaging.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with professional social media management and scheduling software (e.g., Later, Planoly, Buffer, or similar tools) is preferred.
- Background in the wedding industry, luxury lifestyle marketing, or photography/videography content production is highly advantageous.
