Our client is looking for a dedicated and empathetic Healthcare Scheduler and Dispatcher to join their team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for homecare services, managing critical scheduling logistics and providing vital support to elderly clients. This position requires a high degree of emotional intelligence, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm | Pacific Time
Responsibilities
- Monitor and answer incoming phone calls during business hours to ensure no emergency is missed.
- Manage scheduling and dispatching for homecare staff across Canada.
- Respond to urgent inquiries and provide empathetic support to elderly customers.
- Handle high-priority communications with professionalism and patience.
- Coordinate care services and update client files in real-time.
- Maintain high standards of customer service as a representative of Lavender Care Co.
Requirements
- Exceptional patience and emotional intelligence.
- Previous experience in scheduling, dispatching, or healthcare administration.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced homecare environment.
- High level of reliability and attention to detail.
- Proficient with remote communication tools and CRM software.
