Job Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, systematic QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations for multiple business owner clients. In this part-time remote position, you will execute monthly bank reconciliations, ensure precise transaction coding, and maintain organized financial records. Working under the guidance of a CPA firm owner, this role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can independently process high-volume transactional data, track financial details accurately, and maintain the ledger in perfect order for final reporting reviews.

Schedule

• Flexible with regularly scheduled check-in meetings 2x per week MDT [Mountain Daylight Time] (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Transaction Coding: Code and categorize transactions within QuickBooks Online in alignment with the firm's chart of accounts.
• Discrepancy Tracking: Track and follow up on outstanding or questionable transactions to maintain clean books.
• Client Accounting Support: Support the delivery of monthly accounting services for multiple business owner clients.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records to facilitate CPA review and reporting.
• Operational Reporting: Work directly under the CPA firm owner, serving as the primary bookkeeping resource while adhering to strict data security and confidentiality protocols.

Requirements

• Software Literacy: Demonstrated proficiency in navigating and working within QuickBooks Online.
• Professional Experience: 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a client services or multi-client environment.
• Data Precision: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data.
• Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once onboarded.
• Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills for regular check-ins and collaboration.
