Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Appointment Setter to drive outbound lead generation and book qualified meetings with decision-makers. This role is best suited for someone with proven experience in high-volume outreach, strong cold-calling ability, comfort and confidence in video presentations, and the ability to speak with busy business owners in a direct and persuasive way.

This campaign targets general contractors in California, so candidates should be comfortable selling into a practical, time-poor audience, adjusting their pitch quickly to earn attention, and presenting themselves clearly and professionally in recorded video submissions.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm California Time Zone, with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (40 work hours per week)

Requirements

• Proven appointment-setting experience: Prior outbound appointment-setting experience; experience with various campaign types; clear understanding of target decision-makers and responsible outcomes.
• Strong cold-calling and opening skills: Ability to open a cold call effectively with a busy business owner; confidence handling gatekeepers and reaching the real decision-maker; strong objection handling (e.g., handling "I'm not interested," "We already have marketing," "Just send me an email").
• Quality-over-quantity qualification mindset: Strong understanding of what makes a qualified appointment; ability to book meetings that are genuinely valuable to the sales team; judgment to avoid low-quality bookings.
• Familiarity with tools and CRMs: Working knowledge of tools and CRMs used in prior appointment-setting roles; ability to explain how those tools supported outreach, tracking, and follow-up.
• Measurable recent performance: Ability to speak clearly about recent results including calls per day, meetings booked per month, show rate, and industries served.
