Appointment Setter — Outbound B2B Campaign
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing US-based digital marketing and automation company that helps service-based businesses win more customers, improve follow-up, and grow revenue through smarter marketing systems.
The company works with general contractors and other service businesses across the United States, with a current focus on California. Their team provides digital marketing, lead generation, sales automation, and appointment-setting support that helps business owners turn interest into real booked conversations.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced appointment setter who enjoys outbound calling, understands how to speak with business owners, and knows how to turn a cold conversation into a qualified meeting.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Appointment Setter to support an outbound B2B campaign targeting general contractors in California.
You will call pre-qualified leads using client-provided contact lists, scripts, and call scenarios. Your main goal is to reach business owners and decision-makers, handle objections professionally, and book qualified assessment appointments for the client’s internal sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, resilient, persuasive, and comfortable working in a high-volume outbound calling environment.
Schedule: 9am to 6pm California Time Zone
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to pre-qualified general contractors in California using provided contact lists and scripts.
- Navigate gatekeepers and handle objections to reach business owners and key decision-makers.
- Book qualified assessment appointments for the client’s internal sales team.
- Complete follow-up calls with prospects who do not commit during the initial assessment.
- Maintain accurate records of call outcomes, booked appointments, follow-up tasks, and prospect notes.
- Adapt scripted call scenarios to real conversations while keeping a professional and persuasive tone.
- Communicate clearly with the client’s team regarding appointment quality, prospect feedback, and campaign learnings.
- Stay consistent and motivated in a target-driven outbound calling environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in outbound appointment setting, telemarketing, or cold calling campaigns.
- Experience calling US-based businesses is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to handle objections and get past gatekeepers.
- Clear, confident, and professional English communication skills.
- Strong phone presence with the ability to build trust quickly.
- High level of resilience, self-motivation, and discipline.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail when updating lead records, notes, and appointment details.
- Comfortable working with scripts while still sounding natural and conversational.
Campaign Scope
- Target audience: General contractors in California, USA.
- Lead lists, scripts, and call scenarios will be provided.
- No list building or lead verification required.
- Contacts are pre-researched and validated.
- Appointments are booked for the client’s internal sales team.
- Follow-up calls are required for prospects who do not close or commit during the initial sales assessment.
- Commission structure may apply based on performance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is not just someone who can read a script. We are looking for someone who can control a conversation, ask smart questions, recover from objections, and keep pushing professionally without sounding aggressive.
You should be comfortable making a high volume of calls, speaking with business owners, and staying focused even when prospects are busy, distracted, or initially uninterested.
Why Join This Role
- Work with a growing US digital marketing company.
- Call pre-qualified leads, not random unverified lists.
- Scripts, scenarios, and contact lists are provided.
- Clear appointment-setting goal.
- Opportunity to work with US business owners and build strong B2B sales experience.
- Performance-based commission potential.
- Remote role suited to experienced appointment setters who want consistent outbound sales work.
