FinTech Sales Development Representative (Structured Products)

Job Overview

Our client is an innovative, AI-driven FinTech company operating globally within the structured products space. They are seeking a highly driven, target-oriented FinTech Sales Development Representative (SDR) to spearhead their B2B outbound lead generation and pipeline growth.

In this role, you will identify and engage high-value global prospects—including institutional brokers, asset managers, private banks, and wealth management firms. Using a mix of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, data intelligence engines, and outbound dialing, you will initiate conversations with senior financial stakeholders to secure highly qualified meetings for the executive leadership team.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM US Eastern Time (EST), including a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

Institutional Lead Sourcing & Qualification

  • Prospect Identification: Utilize enterprise prospecting tools like Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to locate and qualify high-affinity institutional targets.
  • Target Mapping: Pinpoint key decision-makers across brokers, distributors, and wealth channels, specifically targeting titles such as:
    • Structured Products Sales Directors / Originators
    • Heads of Investment Solutions / Derivatives Trading
    • Chief Investment Officers (CIO) & Heads of Asset Allocation
  • Volume Targets: Build, clean, and deliver a consistent daily pipeline of 20–40 high-quality, relevant leads.

Multi-Channel Outreach & Campaign Execution

  • Social Prospecting: Execute highly localized LinkedIn connection campaigns and follow-up strategies using short, impactful, and non-automated messaging logic.
  • Light Personalization: Tailor outreach scripts based on specific institutional profiles, current market trends, and localized corporate mandates.
  • Direct Outreach: Combine selective email campaigns with assertive cold calling to break through standard gatekeepers.

Pipeline Management & Meeting Bookings

  • Calendar Logistics: Triage inbound responses, handle initial objections, and seamlessly book verified prospects directly into senior leadership's calendars.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all booked sessions strictly match predefined qualification criteria rather than prioritizing raw meeting volume.
  • CRM Administration: Maintain meticulous data hygiene across the sales pipeline (Salesforce/HubSpot), tracking interaction histories, touchpoints, and conversion steps.

Requirements

  • B2B Financial Sales Footprint: Proven professional experience in outbound lead generation, cold calling, or appointment setting inside the financial services, FinTech, or premium B2B SaaS sectors.
  • Capital Markets Literacy: Solid foundational grasp of financial services terminology. Direct exposure to, or basic knowledge of, structured products, derivatives, or yield-enhancement vehicles is highly advantageous.
  • Sales Tech Stack Fluency: Direct, practical experience navigating prospecting platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.
  • Communication Articulation: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, characterized by the ability to write short, highly concise, and professional B2B copy.
  • Target-Driven Resilience: A self-motivated, thick-skinned hunter profile who thrives on high-volume outbound metrics and works seamlessly under independent remote parameters.

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring timelines
  • Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations
