Job Overview

We are seeking three highly motivated Mortgage Lead Qualification Specialists to join our growing mortgage company. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting warm, high-intent leads who have requested information about home loan options. Your primary goal is to engage prospects, follow a structured qualification process, and seamlessly transfer qualified leads to our licensed Loan Officers for application processing and loan consultation.

This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, excellent phone presence, and experience handling high-volume outbound calls. You will play a critical role in our sales process by ensuring prospective borrowers receive prompt and professional service while helping maximize loan officer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to warm, high-intent mortgage leads who have requested information about home loans.
  • Follow company-provided scripts and qualification guidelines.
  • Ask qualifying questions to assess borrower eligibility and needs.
  • Build rapport and maintain a professional, energetic, and engaging phone presence.
  • Handle common objections and encourage prospects to continue through the mortgage process.
  • Accurately document call outcomes and notes within the CRM system.
  • Warm transfer qualified prospects directly to Loan Officers.
  • Maintain high call volumes and productivity throughout the workday.
  • Monitor and manage incoming leads assigned within the CRM.
  • Follow company procedures and compliance requirements related to lead handling.
  • Collaborate with management to improve conversion rates and lead engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, lead qualification, telesales, call center, or mortgage-related sales.
  • Excellent verbal English communication skills 
  • Strong phone etiquette and ability to build trust quickly.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural conversations.
  • Experience handling objections and keeping prospects engaged.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems, dialers, and cloud-based software.
  • Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable computer, headset, and high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mortgage, real estate, lending, or financial services experience.
  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients or consumers.
  • Previous success in lead generation, appointment setting, or sales support roles.
  • Familiarity with mortgage terminology and loan qualification processes.
