Job Overview
Our client is seeking a high-energy and resilient Outbound Business Development Representative to drive pipeline growth through strategic outbound sales development. In this role, you will focus on identifying, qualifying, and engaging key decision-makers within the U.S. shipping industry, setting high-quality appointments to secure new business opportunities.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to U.S.-based shippers to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within mid-sized companies across the shipping industry.
- Qualify prospects and set appointments for the sales lead to close.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach activity and prospect interactions in HubSpot.
- Follow an established outreach process to ensure consistency and pipeline growth.
- Work from provided prospect lists to build, organize, and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Collaborate with the sales lead to refine messaging and targeting strategies based on prospect feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound sales development.
- Professional English communication skills suitable for persuasive, phone-based client interaction.
- Proficiency in using HubSpot or a similar CRM for managing outreach workflows.
- High level of resilience and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
Freight brokerage or logistics industry experience is a strong plus.
