Outbound Sales Representative

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a motivated and driven Outbound Sales Representative to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying new business opportunities by connecting directly with business owners and decision-makers.

Schedule: 20hrs per week, Monday - Friday, Flexible within 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Eastern Time

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold outbound calls to business owners from a provided leads list to gauge interest in exploring a sale or acquisition
  • Deliver warm, professional introductions on behalf of the firm's private equity clients
  • Qualify prospective sellers by assessing their interest and readiness to explore acquisition opportunities
  • Accurately document call outcomes and update lead records to maintain pipeline visibility
  • Communicate interested prospects back to the team for further evaluation and scheduling of formal introductions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound cold calling, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment
  • Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone with business owners and decision-makers
  • Ability to handle objections and maintain composure during cold outreach
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a high volume of calls
  • Experience or comfort using a soft phone system for high-volume outreach
