About Us
We are a fast-growing eCommerce business looking for an experienced Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our customer retention marketing. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to build high-converting email and SMS campaigns, create automated customer journeys, and design engaging content that drives revenue.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for planning, creating, designing, and optimizing our email and SMS marketing strategy. Working closely with our marketing and eCommerce teams, you will manage all customer communication flows, promotional campaigns, segmentation, and performance reporting.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM UK Time with 1-hour unpaid break
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Manage and optimize all Klaviyo email marketing activities.
- Create, build, and maintain automated flows including:

- Abandoned Cart
- Browse Abandonment
- Post-Purchase
- Win-Back Campaigns
- Customer Retention Flows
- VIP & Loyalty Campaigns
- Develop and execute weekly and monthly promotional email campaigns.
- Segment audiences to improve engagement, conversion, and customer lifetime value.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, offers, and send times.
- Monitor deliverability, list health, and campaign performance.
SMS Marketing
- Manage SMS marketing campaigns and automated flows.
- Develop SMS customer journeys that complement email marketing.
- Create engaging SMS copy that drives clicks and conversions.
- Ensure compliance with SMS marketing regulations and best practices.
Design & Content Creation
- Design visually appealing email templates and campaign creatives.
- Create email layouts that are mobile-first and conversion-focused.
- Work with brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging and design.
- Coordinate with creative teams for imagery and promotional assets where required.
Reporting & Optimization
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Track key metrics including:

- Customer retention metrics
- Continuously improve campaign performance through testing and optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience managing email marketing for eCommerce brands.
- Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo.
- Experience building and optimizing email automation flows.
- Experience with SMS marketing platforms and automation.
- Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategies.
- Ability to design professional email campaigns.
- Knowledge of segmentation, A/B testing, and deliverability best practices.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent written English and copywriting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Shopify stores.
- Experience with loyalty and subscription programmes.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Understanding of customer acquisition and retention metrics.
