Social Media Assistant (Video Editing)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 20hrs per week, 9am to 1pm | Eastern Time

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates on ad campaign performance and status
  • Review client ad accounts to ensure campaigns are running correctly and flag any issues
  • Produce batches of video ad creatives using provided footage, templates, and B-roll in CapCut
  • Create hook variants and on-screen text overlays to support ad testing and optimization
  • Coordinate ad revision requests and track progress through the production pipeline
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline content production and client communication workflows

Requirements:

  • Experience with basic to intermediate video editing, particularly short-form social media content
  • Familiarity with CapCut and AI tools such as ChatGPT
  • Proven reliability and consistency in meeting deadlines and maintaining availability
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • High level of attention to detail when reviewing ad creatives and campaign data
